Solution selling of NCSRT products and services to new and existing accounts involved in bioprocessing.  Maintain close contact with clients to answer questions, collect and relay information between Company and clients, monitor and address customer satisfaction.  

  1. Initiate sales campaigns and follow marketing plan guidelines in order to meet sales and production expectations.  Identify prospective customers by using business/academic directories, following leads from existing clients, participating in professional/industry organizations, attending trade shows and conferences.
  2. Setup, perform, and control product demonstrations at customer’s facility.
  3. Contact new and existing customers to discuss their needs, and to explain how these needs could be met by NCSRT products and services. Present solution based on analyses of customers' needs, and on technical knowledge of product capabilities and limitations. Demonstrate and explain the operation and use of products.  Work with Applications Lab staff to develop customized solutions and address technical specifications.  Gather specifications for sales contracts.
  4. Negotiate prices and terms of sales and service agreements. Prepare sales contracts for orders obtained, and submit orders for processing.  Verify production/delivery schedule for  follow up with client.
  5. Monitor client satisfaction; address and/or any issues to appropriate NCSRT divisions.
  6. Facilitate reference account and case study status for target clients.

Requirements

  1. Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems.
  2. Relevant experience in highly technical sales.  Prefer domain knowledge in bioprocessing, particularly separation, filtration and purification and at least 7 years of experience.
  3. Ability to gather detailed technical requirements and introduce expert parties where appropriate to ensure accurate specifications for product/services.  Comfortable working where FDA or other regulations affecting client requirements and product specifications.
  4. Exceptional communications skills, particularly demonstrated experience/skills in highly technical sales presentations.  Excellent negotiation and facilitation skills.
  5. Flexible and able to adapt to business requirements.  Possess high level of initiative, personal accountability, follow-through skills.
  6. BS/BA in Life Science discipline, Sales & Marketing, or related disciplines.
